I past judgement. I thought to myself "it's not what you know, it's who you know." It's sad and disappointing to learn so many feel rejected, excluded and alienated. It doesn't matter how long you have been attending, participating, serving, giving, worshipping within a community. You are made to feel not good enough or worthy.
Sometimes they will condemn you or punish you for standing your ground. People will turn on you, talk about you even gossip. You know feeling this way is not healthy, all you want to do is move forward, let go, forgive and have hope in God's love.
Place all your hope in God. God does not reject, exclude or alienate. God accepts us the way we are. If someone has condemned you, or made you feel this way. Please believe me, it was not God. It was a man made decision, a man's action, behavior and attitude . This act has caused suffering and allowing the person to carry around the blame. No one should ever feel this way, no one should ever be condemned until the truth is spoken, even though sometimes they don't want to hear the truth. God loves us and showed that to us on the cross. So place your hope in God and be gentle with yourself, know that God is working on it.
"For God did not send his son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him." John 3:17
