Mother of Sorrows

This week, I have been mediating on the Joyful mysteries and one of the questions, I was wanting to share my insights with you all.
How would Jesus words have touched his Mother?
Jesus words are from Matthew 12:46-55 The true family of Jesus,
He was still speaking to the crowds when his mother and his brothers appeared, they were standing outside and were anxious to have a word with him. But to the man who told him this, Jesus replied, who is my mother? Who are my brothers? And stretching out his hand towards his disciples he said, “Here are my mother, and my brothers, anyone who does the will of my father in heaven, he is my brother, and sister and mother.”
These words must have hurt Mary. Sorrow was an integral part of Mary’s being and simeon prophecy was the first of Mary's sorrows, and it predicted the other six, the family's escape to Egypt, the parents' loss of the boy Jesus on their way home from the temple, Mary's encounter with her son on his way to Calvary, Jesus' crucifixion. her lowering of the body from the cross, and the body's entombment. As a mum, if I heard those words, I would be terribly offended, my heart would break and yes, I guess it’s true, I am not very gracious in the face of pain. I am trying to handle pain and suffering has a lesson and I shouldn’t keep myself chained, I need to free myself somehow. Maybe bearing in mind, that God will see me through any storm. I do think if someone was suffering or in pain, they could call on me because I know that it’s nice to have someone to listen, to show love, to pray with, be compassionate, be supportive. When I’m sorrowful, I go to my mum, my mum, listens, gives me love and though at times, I get cranky, frustrated and I have attitude towards her suggestions. I know she only has my best interest at heart. I do call on the blessed Mother who helps me, more than I will ever know.
Women of faith and hope, may we listen, may we be there for one another, may we be supportive and encouraging because everyday is a battle and we try our best and that is all that matters, is that we are doing the best we can to survive the battle.
Philippians 4:6-7 There is no need to worry; but if there is anything you need, pray for it, asking God for with prayer and thanksgiving and that peace of God, which is so much greater than we can understand, will guard your hearts and your thoughts, in Christ Jesus.

You're faith has saved you

As a mum, a wife, a woman, I look forward to having an hour to myself and one of those hours to myself is attending mass on a Sunday. It’s the time when I can breathe, relax, connect with God, in prayer, in song, through his words.  As I was reading this week’s Gospel and readings, all I could think of is how grateful and thankful I am. My faith has saved me. My faith in Jesus and his teachings, his guidance when I am reading and listening to his words. Yesterday, I went into St Monica’s Chapel and prayed for someone to support and guide me because I feel I am walking my spiritual journey alone and I swear I heard “Katie, you’re not alone, look at your bible, I am with you always.” I know, I am not walking my spiritual journey alone, I am walking with you all. I am praying for courage, bravery and to have the strength to keep going. Women of Faith and hope, I know we get tired, feel broken, and eventually get fed up and sometimes it’s enough and we want to walk away and say No, enough already, no more fighting, no more yelling, no more blaming, no more of the past being brought back up and feeling afraid. It’s time to leave the past to God’s mercy, the present to God’s Love and the future to God’s providence. It is through the power of Christ that saves, our faith is only an instrument. maybe believing in hope, helped me see a miracle happen, maybe believing, my faith in Jesus helped me to know that something was going to happen and knowing that my courage and bravery will make it happen, my faith saved me. Go in peace this weekend Women of Faith and Hope.

Have a great weekend God Bless Always

My Children day 2

Mother Ministry day 2
Proverbs 16:24 ‘Kindly words are like honey comb, sweet to the taste, wholesome to the body.’
My children, I believe you two can be very kind to one another. I know at times you feel like saying mean things to each other but believe me, one unkind word spoken, can do so much damage to a person’s soul and their heart can break. So I pray to God, that my children can speak kind words to each other and to others. I believe in the magic of kindness.
I hope you are all having a great week, God Bless Always, written and created by My Mother Rose

I will rejoice

“ We can see God with the eye of our heart, it’s the vision or perception of our soul.”

As I walk through the doors, I enter with hope, believing, and trusting again, that any bad memories won’t stop me form having a relationship with God, who is my soulmate, and hero. He is the one, that I have been looking for my entire life to make me feel complete. I had stopped giving myself entirely to God, I have tried so much, I was feeling joy, love, peace until the bad memories flooded back my way. I hold myself back because I feel no one will believe me that God’s will is to create life with me and I don’t allow myself to believe in the power I have. I believe though that God is with me today, through my children, through a person’s smile, someone’s kindness, compassion, empathy, through a song on the radio, in my dreams and God’s bearers are recognized by their actions, attitude and behavior towards another human or God’s creations. My quote below is saying: " I am ready and my time is now, I want to create life with you and I am ready for the responsibilities my love. "

My Children

Mother Ministry day 1
"The quicker you get jobs done, the more time you have for playing outside or playing inside." Anthony Robinson
My children, I am not going to lie, the world can be very scary and at times it's very hard to belong, to be accepted all I can honestly say to you both is be brave, be kind, explore, think happy thoughts and fly like Peter Pan, keep dreaming big and remember o smile often. If they say no, it's ok, I know it might feel like a rejection but you can turn that no into a yes and do your own thing. Believe in what you can do, despite what others might think.

Mother Ministry

I am going to take a short break with God says you are and share some beautiful inspiration from the 'Mother Ministry' and this is mostly inspired by my beautiful babies and of course Mary Mother of God, who in my times of trouble, fear, I call her to be a Mother to me. i would also like to take the month to mediate on the Joyful mysteries which are: The Annunciation-Luke 1:28, The Visitation- Luke 1:41-42, The Birth of Jesus- Luke 2:7, The Presentation-Luke 2:22-23 and Finding of the child Jesus in the temple Luke 2:46.
