Our
fourth bible hero is Miriam.
What
makes Miriam a hero?
There
was a baby named Moses, his mother had laid him in a basket and hid it among
the reeds by the riverbank. Miriam, his older sister was very brave, she stood
and kept watch over baby Moses’s day after day. One day, the King’s daughter saw
Moses in the basket and felt sorry for him, so she took him back to the palace
to live with her. Miriam knew Moses would be safe within the palace.
