Our third bible hero is Joseph.
What makes Joseph a
hero?
·
Joseph’s father loved him very much and he gave him a
beautiful coat of many colors, however Joseph’s brothers were jealous.
·
Joseph’s brothers were so jealous they sold him as a slave,
far away in Egypt.
·
God watched over Joseph as he grew up because he had plans
for him.
·
With God’s help Joseph told Pharaoh that the dream he had
meant hungry times were coming and that he had to start storing up food for his
people.
·
Years later Pharaoh’s dream came true, and Joseph became
King!
·
All the food he’d stored up was enough to feed all the
people in the land.
·
Joseph understood God’s plans and he forgave his brothers
what they had done to him.
