Happy New Year!

“If Jesus is Life, Mary is the Mother of Life.

If Jesus is Hope, Mary is the Mother of Hope.

If Jesus is peace, Mary is the Mother of Peace.”

Pope Saint John Paul the Great.

Mary said yes, this we know, she had a baby and named him Jesus, Jesus who is our Lord, Christ, savior, rock, redeemer, strength, and our companion. We are truly blessed to begin the New year with Mary as our guide, as an example of a handmaid of the Lord, a blessed woman among many on our 2021 Faith and Hope journey. This weekend, we are led and invited to pay homage, respect, to the Newborn King, Our Lord Jesus Christ, The Prince of Peace.

What gifts will you bring to the Baby Jesus?

Here are some suggestions for gifts, our time, love, faith, hope, our kindness, compassion, and mercy. The gifts we give to Jesus and those gifts we give; we give to others especially those in need.

Do you know what I like to read and hear about?

I belong, you belong, we all belong to the same Body of Christ, that each one of us is a part of that same body which we all have inherited. I also like reading and hearing that what we are promised is for all of us, a promise was made for all of God’s Children and above are stars that shine bright, light up our path, that guides us to come to adore the Lord.

Go, Women of Faith and Hope, follow the star that leads us to a life lived with peace, love, and joy.

Happy New Year, Women of Faith and Hope.

May God Bless Always,

Living Word, Living Light.

Women of Faith and Hope, a child has been born for us, a son given to us, let us sing, and sing out to the Lord.

Each day I try to wake up and begin reading the word of God and I run my finger along the top and I say, “What is it you want of me?” “Is there a message for me today?” So, I wanted to share my recent messages with you in my reflection this Christmas.

For today, the word of God has become flesh and is dwelt among us; the word of the true light has come into this world.

Each step we take on this journey is our own, we keep our steps on our own path and the only one and true one we should follow is the one who came into this world to bring salvation, the true meaning of love and life because remember life is light and the greatest gift we have been given is life itself.

One subject that has been on my mind of late and it was in my dream in the early hours of Sunday morning, we study the scriptures, which these scriptures testify to God, yet we become so complacent, it’s about self, we have a smug attitude, we are slaves of our own appetite, boasting how great we are, having your picture in a magazine or in the newspaper, we talk about our own journey, how we have made it on our own.

Here are some questions;

Are we honoring the word of God?

Think about it, our lips might honor God but our hearts are far from him. Mark 7:6-7

Whose approval are we seeking? Are we seeking, human approval? Because this means nothing to God, if you truly believe in God, then why seek approval from one another? Seek from God. John 5:18-47

If we listen to the word of God and believe fully with all our heart, soul and mind then be confident in knowing, “on the mountain, the LORD provides.’” Genesis 22:14

The Lord provided just as he promised and this Christmas, we will read and hear, the Word was made flesh and lives among us.

In fact, he still dwells in all who makes up his body, the church, the sacraments. If we accept Jesus who is the Spirit which lingers, who lives in each one of our hearts that is a temple built for him? Then let us be accepting of each other, not meaning to gain approval, we do not need human approval to belong to the body of Christ, possibly God’s but not man’s or woman’s approval.  I mean to accept that each one of us is wonderfully made and created in a unique way by God.

God does not call us to be anyone else’s imitation.

So, I say to you, Women of Faith and Hope,

Shout to the Lord all the earth and ring out your joy!

For today, tomorrow and the rest of our lives, a great light has come and lives among us and glory to him who is able to give you the strength to live according to the Good News that brings us all to be obedient in faith. Romans 16:25-27.

Do Not Be Afraid!

Accept him,

Believe in him, for in the beginning was the Word; the Word was with God and the Word was God.

John 1:1-18.

May God Bless Always,

Women Of Faith and Hope: Precious girl!

Women Of Faith and Hope: Precious girl!:   Right now, precious girl, I want to hold your hand and walk with you. We were so unworthy to receive the Son of God but directly, God gave...

Yes, God.

1Theessalonians 3:12, May the Lord be generous in increasing your love and make you love one another and the whole human race as much as we love you.

Say yes to God!

Women of Faith and Hope, we have given the gift of hope, prepared the way for peace in our lives and the lives of others. We have rejoiced! Now, we look forward to the week ahead with love in our hearts, minds, and souls.

We talk, we write, we share and proclaim how God loves us so much, which is so true, we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do all good works. God created the world and God’s love for the world, gave the world his only son and whoever believes in this truth, shall have everlasting life.

What about Mary though?

The coming of God’s salvation (Yeshua- Hebrew) which we will rejoice in, rested on our Blessed Virgin Mary’s obedient act of faith in charity and grace.

Luke 2:19, As for Mary, she treasured all these things and pondered them in her heart.

Mary was only twelve to fourteen years old and eternal life, that is promised to us rested in the palms of Mary’s hands. She joyfully accepted and became the mother of our Lord and savior.

As daughters, mothers, sisters of Christ, and Mary who became our Spiritual Mother, we must follow in her footsteps. Saying, yes means we have consented to act out our faith, serving humanity, with love, peace and bringing hope and joy to each life because we are willing to do all good works for God and we are willing to work with God to change the hearts of many.

Is yes to God, saying we turn away from our sinful nature?

Or possibly, our yes to God is saying; we believe in your love God for ever and we shall keep your love and our love for you and others always. God did not want to dwell in a building, he chooses to dwell in a Virgins womb and to this day he continues to dwell among us in Jesus Christ.

Women of Faith and Hope, as faithful servants at the beginning of our Advent journey we made the choice to bring hope, peace, joy, and love into peoples lives, we made the decision to walk this path, we put our faith into action and each day we continued to keep giving Christ to the world, to those who need a positive message. May we continue to keep on giving the gift of God always, every day, may it never cease or discontinue.

‘Love thy will be done.’

Luke 1:38,

‘For nothing is impossible to God.’

May God Bless Always,

 Women of Faith and Hope.
