I believe we all live the way of the cross because every life has suffering, falls, hurts, rejection, condemnation, death, burial, and resurrection. We one day will be with Jesus in paradise and it seems as though the day we were born we said yes, we made a choice to pick up our crosses and live life the best way we can despite the ugliness and terribleness of this world we all live in.
Over the next week or two let
us go on a journey with Mary and silently ponder her way of the cross. How did
Mary feel when her son Jesus was condemned to die? What was she feeling as she
pushed her way through the crowd to be at her son’s side? I suppose we may
never know the extent of the situation but let us pray, mediate and be opened for
Mary to guide and teach us the truth as to what really happened.
