The Light of Guidance

The Light of Guidance.

Psalm 17:14, 88:15

The Lord thundered in the heavens; the Most Hight let his voice be heard.

Justice and right are the pillars of your throne, love and truth walk in your presence.

The Light of Favor

 The Light of Favor.

I read an article ‘The light of Favor by Paul Keith Davis’ here is the link where I found it. The Light of Favor – WhiteDove Ministries

I don’t really understand what light of favor meant until I read the article and I understood and was reminded of my own experiences, that we can see the lamp of God shining above the heads of those who God has favored. Sometimes for me it’s not a light, it’s a person’s smile and when I see that smile, I know God is present.

Psalm 3:6

I lie down to rest and sleep. I wake, for the Lord upholds me.

The Light of Wisdom

The light of Wisdom.

‘Wisdom of light becomes a part of our life, a life of happiness and wonder.’

Daniel 2:20-23

This is what Daniel said: ‘May the name of God be blessed for ever and ever, since wisdom and power are his alone. His, to control the procession of times and seasons, to make and unmake kings, to confer wisdom on the wise, and knowledge on those with wit to discern; his, to uncover depths and mysteries; to know what lies in darkness; and light dwells with him. To you, God of my fathers, I give thanks and praise for having given me wisdom and intelligence. Now you have shown me what we asked you, you have revealed the King’s trouble to us.’

The Word of Light.

The Word or Light.

‘The word of light informs and changes the course for many in this world.’
Psalm 42:3
O send forth your light and your truth; let these be my guide. Let them bring me to your holy mountain to the place where you dwell.

2 Corinthians 4:6
It is the same God that said, ‘Let there be light shining out of darkness’, who has shone in our minds to radiate the light of the knowledge of God’s glory, the glory on the face of Christ.

Metaphorically Light

Metaphorically light

Metaphorically light is portraying God’s nature it also suggests when we read the word of God, we come across words such as lamp, candle, and lantern and these are metaphors to describe the light of God. A God who shows us the truth and with that truth we are enlightened so others might see the light, the light of hope.
I want to explain a little bit more, when we doubt, fear, feel lost, confused even distant from God we say we are in the dark there is some sort of void hovering over our lives, and we can’t seem to find the light. But it’s when we hear the word of God or read from our bibles there is a light bulb moment and we come to understand there is no need to doubt or be fearful and that is when we change our perspectives and start living with hope, faith, and love and in turn we become the light for another.
I probably have said this before the word of God is very powerful, it empowers and changes lives. However, it is ok to research to ensure that what we hear or see holds up to the light of God’s word before we accept it.
May God Bless Always,

Miraculous Light

Miraculous Light

Miraculous light is a spiritual symbol of hope, it is also a symbol of salvation from our darkness or in other words sin. Miraculous light is also a sign of God’s work in our lives, it opens our hearts, souls, and minds to the possibility of change and something better.

Natural Light

Natural Light

Natural light comes from natural sources known as the sun, the moon which is reflected sun, burning wood, lightning, and the stars. Natural light is such an important form of light for all of us, we know this waking up each day, experiencing the sunrise and sunset.
What does God say about Natural light?
‘Let there be light, and there was light.’ I always say the best medicine is sunlight, to feel the sun on my skin, to see the sun beaming down upon my face and not only the sun. When I stand and lookout my bathroom window, I see the moon and the moon sees me and no I am not going to break into song but know light is good.

Cosmic Light

Cosmic Light

Cosmic light is unique and its brightness shines in the night sky. Cosmic light can seem as though it comes from a flat surface which will eventually dissolve in the atmosphere. What can God teach us about cosmic light? Light is good and we all are a cosmic light, radiant with divine essence.

'Let There be Light!'

Light

Written and Created by My Mother Rose.

Light is an agent which makes objects visible for example if you shine a torch in the dark, you will be able to see where you are going or if you enter a dark room you turn a switch on. We all know what light is and we all know light shines throughout the day and night. Light can also be spiritual, also known as divine radiance, magnificence, and presence. When I say I am going to let my little light shine, I mean I am going to live life with optimism and confidence to be an example of  goodness, knowledge, wisdom, grace, hope and God’s love.

This February Women of Faith and Hope, let us explore what light is and identify four kinds of light. We will also find ways on how to be the light for another and how we can keep that light burning bright. Also, as a part of the Mother Ministry we will attempt a few light experiments with our little ones and big ones.

May God Bless Always, Women of Faith and Hope
