"Friendship, true friendship means believing in one another, trusting, caring, supporting and being respectful. You might not agree on everything but you try and understand each others thoughts, ideas and you believe in them. A true friend is like a diamond, precious but rare.
A mother is the truest friend we have.” I have to say the truest friend a mother could have are her children. We don’t get every moment right and we rarely hold the perfect balance but sometimes when all seems to be in align, we are exactly where our children need us to be, doing exactly what they need us to do. I often say my son is a superhero in disguise and anchor in my life. My daughter is an angel in disguise and the most beautiful gift this world has to give. I hope to believe my soul is fashioned as a shelter in which my children, may feel safe and protected, but I believe, I feel that way in the souls of my children. My children are the ones I laugh with, dream with, and love with all my heart, If I seek a miracle, I look into my children’s eyes and realize, I’ve already created miracles. I often use my Granddad’s pick-up line, “hold my hand until the bus goes by;” my children might only hold my hand for a little while, but I know they will hold my heart for a lifetime. Friends will come and go but my children are my best friends, the best treasures this world can offer me, they keep me going, they give me hope for a bright tomorrow."
